My favorite winter olympic sport is bobsledding. Not because I want to sit in a sled with three other guys and rocket down a track. They don't even get to look up. Mostly because I've also imagined how cool it would be to ride my skateboard down the track. Well at least one guy made my dream a reality. More »

finally a list of OWS demands:
1 Repeal the Taft-Hartley Act. Unionize ALL workers immediately.
2 Raise the minimum wage immediately to $18/hr. Create a maximum wage of $90/hr to eliminate inequality.
3 Institute a 6 hour workday, and 6 weeks of paid vacation.
4 Institute a moratorium on all foreclosures and layoffs immediately.
5 Repeal racist and xenophobic English-only laws.
6 Open the borders to all immigrants, legal or illegal. Offer immediate, unconditional amnesty, to all undocumented residents of the US.
7 Create a single-payer, universal health care system.
8 Pass stricter campaign finance reform laws. Ban all private donations. All campaigns will receive equal funding, provided by the taxpayers.
9 Institute a negative income tax, and tax the very rich at rates up to 90%.
10 Pass far stricter environmental protection and animal rights laws.
11 Allow workers to elect their supervisors.
12 Lower the retirement age to 55. Increase Social Security benefits.
13 Create a 5% annual wealth tax for the very rich.
Ban the private ownership of land.
14 Make homeschooling illegal. Religious fanatics use it to feed their children propaganda.
15 Reduce the age of majority to 16.
16 Abolish the death penalty and life in prison. We call for the immediate release of all death row inmates from death row and transferred to regular prisons.
17 Release all political prisoners immediately.
18 Immediate withdrawal from Iraq and Afghanistan.
19 Abolish the debt limit.
20 Ban private gun ownership.
21 Strengthen the separation of church and state.
22 Immediate debt forgiveness for all.
23 End the 'War on Drugs'.

Verizon sinking boat ad disses AT&T iPhone coverage: 
Verizon isn’t just selling Droids these days, they are still making an effort to sell some iPhones on their talk network reputation. AT&T has seen much less churn than was expected when it lost its exclusivity. We hope to see more entertaining back and forth as we ease into the holidays.
