Long Day

Yesterday was such a long day. Many of you have heard or read about our long travel to CA. We left Baltimore 30 min late and flew to Nashville to pick up more passengers. About an hour into the flight we diverted to Little Rock, AK due to engine problems (there was only one!) As we were getting off the plane, I asked the kids if they had everything and DD replied "everything but my happiness". She was so dejected at being detained from seeing her best friend. Finally, 2 hours later, we were off the ground. We landed in San Diego about 2 1/2 hours late. It was good to finally be off the plane. We sat in front of an obnoxious man that talked the ENTIRE flight. Many people say men don't talk much, that is so not true. He was so loud! I asked him to quieten down as did 2 of the stewardesses. My kids just wanted to sleep and it wasn't happening. What a relief to get off that plane!!
