Water Country USA

Our purpose for going camping this weekend was to go to Water Country USA in Williamsburg, VA. Each year, Anheuser Busch gives military families (up to 4 members) one free entry into one of their parks. This is called Salute to the Heroes. We have been to Busch Garden roller coaster park and Sea World in the past couple of years. The kids were so excited to be going to be on water rides ALL day. Fortunately, we picked the perfect day to go. It wasn't too crowded and the weather worked out wonderfully.

Looking at the park map, it didn't look like we would be there all day. To our surprise, we didn't leave until almost 8:00 pm. We learned that we need to invest in a water-proof camera to be able to take cool water pictures. Needless to say, we don't have any good pictures.

DW, DD and I had a blast ALL day. DS decided to wait until early evening to have fun. Once he decided he enjoyed the fast ones, we had a hard time keeping him off of them. I don't think I have ever climbed so many steps in one day. I guess you need to go up for gravity to work properly.

It turned out to be a good weekend, except for sleep (see earlier post for explenation).
